Finite Control of High Risk Wind Power Ramping

With the increase of wind power penetration ratio,the probability of ramping events of large scale highly-concentrated wind power generation increases,and therefore,the research on finite control of ramping events becomes more urgent.This paper proposed a unit classification method based on extreme weather conditions and controllability of wind generators,which divides wind generators into six types;a framework of finite control method to deal with highly-concentrated wind generation ramping events,which can be classified into preventive control stage,ramping control stage and restorative control stage;especially ramping control method is introduced based on unit classification and priority,which can improve the controllability and certainty of wind power generation bases.The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the method.
