Problem or promise? Harnessing youth potential in Uganda.

This report from BRAC in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation documents a wide-ranging study of the aspirations and challenges of Uganda’s youth. BRAC’s internal research and evaluation unit reached out to every corner of Uganda using focus groups case studies and a survey of more than 5000 people ages 15 to 30 from all settings and walks of life. Its findings are important for those confronting the challenges of a demographic "youth bulge" in developing countries.
