Chemical transformations of 3-methyl ethers of 14β-hydroxy-8α, 9β-D-homoestrone and 14α-hydroxy-9β-D-homoestrone

Starting with the 3-methyl ether of 14β-hydroxy-8α,9β-D-homoestrone (I) we synthesized the 3-methyl ethers of 8α, 14β-D-homoestrone (V) and 8α, 9β-D-homoestrone (III).
