Perancangan Aplikasi Mobile Sebagai Media Promosi Digital Untuk Tour Dan Travel Skala UMKM Studi Kasus: Provinsi Bali - The Design of Mobile Application as Digital Promotional Media for UMKM Scale Tour and Travel Case Study: Bali Province

Potensi besar sektor pariwisata di Indonesia mengakibatkan ketatnya persaingan usaha di bidang tour dan travel. Hal ini menyulitkan bagi pemilik usaha skala UMKM karena sebagian besar pangsa pasar dikuasai oleh tour dan travel skala besar. Agar dapat bersaing dalam kondisi tersebut, pemilik usaha tour dan travel skala UMKM membutuhkan media yang tepat untuk memperkenalkan kualitas jasa yang dimiliki kepada wisatawan. Metode deep interview dan customer journey map dilakukan untuk memetakan kebutuhan wisatawan dan UMKM tour dan travel. Selain itu juga dilakukan studi literatur tentang media promosi digital dan e-commerce, sistem kerja biro tour dan travel, aplikasi eksisting, dan karakteristik wisatawan yang didapat dari penelitian sebelumnya, buku, jurnal, dan artikel. Keseluruhan proses perancangan menggunakan metode desain kontekstual kemudian hasilnya dirangkum, diolah secara keseluruhan dan disintesis menjadi sebuah konsep desain aplikasi mobile sebagai dasar dari perancangan ini. Aplikasi mobile ini menggunakan sistem operasi android. Desain yang dihasilkan meliputi pemetaan kebutuhan pengguna, arsitektur informasi, desain user experience, dan desain user interface yang dirancang berdasarkan riset. Selain itu, UMKM tour dan travel juga mendapatkan perencanaan strategi promosi yang terintegrasi dengan fitur dan konten di dalam aplikasi. Konsep aplikasi mobile ini dibuat dengan studi kasus Provinsi Bali, namun dapat diterapkan dan dikembangkan ke berbagai daerah lainnya. Adanya aplikasi mobile ini diharapkan dapat membantu memperkenalkan kualitas jasa yang dimiliki oleh UMKM tour dan travel kepada wisatawan agar dapat bersaing di industri pariwisata. ================================================ The big potential of tourism sector in Indonesia affecting the stringent competition in tour and travel business. This matter make the difficulty for the owner in scale of UMKM because the majority market segment controlled by large scale tour and travel business. To be able compete in that condition, the owner of tour and travel in UMKM sector need a correct media to introduce the quality of its service which they owned to the tourists. Deep interview and customer journey map methods which conduct were for mapping the tourists’ and UMKM scale tour and travel needs. Moreover, the litterateur study conducted in this study is about digital promotional media and e-commerce, the work system of tour and travel bureau, the mobile existing application and the characteristics of tourists which is gained from the previous observations, books, journals and articles. The whole design process uses contextual design method then the result will be concluded, overall managed and synthesized become an mobile application design concept as this basic design planning. This mobile application is using an android operation system. The design produced includes user needs’ mapping, information architecture, user experience design, and user interface design which is designed based on research. Furthermore, the UMKM scale tour and travel also get the promotion strategic plan which is integrated with the feature and the content in this application. This mobile application concept made Bali Province as the case study, but it can be applied and developed in the other areas. The existing of this mobile application hopefully can help UMKM scale tour and travel to promote their service quality to the tourists so that they can compete in tourism industry.
