Atomic oxygen radio-frequency source and its application to the treatment of mixed valence copper oxide thin films

1992
An atomic oxygen source is presented, consisting of a radio-frequency wave- sustained low-pressure discharge in a small diameter tube. The flowing afterglow is used to oxidize with good efficiency YBaCuO thin films which initially present oxygen deficiency.
