Oral lichen planus in patients with diabetes: An epidemiologic study

Abstract The prevalence of oral lichen planus was studied in 729 persons with diabetes and was found to be in 0.55% of cases. This result was compared with the results obtained from a group of controls without diabetes and from a sample of the general population of similar age and sex distribution. No statistical differences were observed.
