Spread and Influence of Ming and Qing Chinese Novels in Vietnam

This paper first discusses how Chinese novels in Ming and Qing Dynasties entered and spread across Vietnam and estimates the total number of them.Then,the paper recounts the various influence of ancient Chinese novels on Chinese novels,dramas,etc.in Vietnam.The paper argues that we cannot disregard or ignore the fact that large numbers of Ming and Qing Chinese novels spread and exerted great influence throughout Vietnam just on account of almost no traces of reliable texts of them in it.
