Surgical management of three simultaneous intracerebral abscesses with complete recovery: Case report

✓ The successful surgical and medical treatment of three brain abscesses occurring simultaneously in the same patient is reported. The importance of a diagnostic brain scan is emphasized. Successful management was facilitated by the use of corticosteroids. In selected cases, surgical treatment of multiple abscesses may be performed with a reasonable chance for recovery.
