System for interactive real-time display of muscle forces and joint pairs in the human body

A system for the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, the system comprising: a motion capture system (32); a computer; an exposure device (34); wherein said computer is arranged to receive data from said motion capture system (32); a computational algorithm development provided in said computer; said computer being configured to development: deriving orientations, accelerations and joint velocities from said data received from said motion capture system (32); calculating joint pairs, muscle forces and joint forces from such orientations, accelerations and joint velocities; wherein said system is further arranged to: provide a computer generated image illustrating a muscle layer anatomical dimensional arranged on a three-dimensional anatomical skeleton, wherein the system is arranged to calculate these joint pairs, muscle forces and joint forces such joint orientations in real time; and visually displaying on said screen (34) in real time said muscle forces and joint pairs calculated as real-time animation of the respective colors of the three-dimensional anatomical muscles muscle layer.
