and heart valve system

2005
A heart valve (100, 200, 300, 400) comprising: a frame (102, 202, 302, 402) support having an element (110, 210, 310, 410) of the first end and an element (112 , 212, 312, 412) of the opposite second element (110, 210, 310, 410) of the first end by a relative distance substantially fixed, the element (110, 210, 310, 5410) of the first end and the element (112, 212, 312.412) of the second end defining a sequence of convex curves and concave curves; a cover (104, 204, 304, 404) extending between the convex curved element (112, 212, 312, 412) of the second end to form a first valve (140, 240, 340, 440) of the valve and a second valve (142, 242, 342, 442) of the valve, wherein a part of the first leaflet (140, 240, 340, 340) of the valve and the second valve (142, 242, 342, 442) the valve are joined to form an aperture capable of reversibly close to a unidirectional flow of a liquid through the valve (100, 200, 300, 400) heart; characterized in that: an elongated tubular member (482) having a tubular first end (484) and a second end (486), the element (482) elongated positioned relative to the frame (102, 202, 302, 402) support to allow the first end (484) of the element (482) being on a first side of the first and second valve leaflets and the second end on a second face of the first and second valve leaflets, wherein the cover (104, 204 , 304, 404) it includes surfaces defining an opening through or around the cover (104, 204, 304, 404) through which the tubular member (482) passes and is engageable in close fluid communication to allow fluid communication through the valve (100, 200, 300, 400) heart when the first leaflet (140, 240, 340, 440) of the valve and the second valve (142, 242, 342, 442) of the valve are in closed position.
