This study aimed to evaluate the fixation of professionals in the Dom Malan highcomplexity hospital, belonging to the Pernambuco / Bahia network, to characterize the length of stay of the professional by specialty, to identify the distribution of professionals by type of bond and to describe the distribution of workload. hourly by specialty. This study is of great relevance for understanding turnover and influencing factors for non-fixation of medical professionals. This is an observational, descriptive, quantitative and cross-sectional research, from 2014 to 2018, which used secondary data taken from the National Register of Health Facilities (CNES). The information was obtained through CNES, referring to professionals who work in the hospital specialties. The descriptive analysis used the average measurement, gross proportional values and percentages, and studied the variables of specialty, employment and workload. As a result, medical pejotization, bond precarization and a short time in the service were observed. The research describes the reasons for pejotization, about what is the precariousness of the bond and analyzes the length of stay of the medical professional in the studied period. Medical non-fixation is a multifactorial problem. The study contributed to the understanding of this process in a high complexity hospital of an interstate network, knowing aspects that influence turnover.
