6 Abstract Physical modeling is employed in order to assess the influence of some geometrical and operational parameters of a combined blow converter on mixing, degasification and rate of projections. The relative role of bottom tuyeres location and blow pattern (top gas blowing rate, tuyeres blowing rate and lance to bath distance) has been clarified. Operational data have been taken from a 80 tons reactor.
