The invention discloses a light sensitive color modulation makeup falling prevention nanometer powder composition, and preparation thereof for application in cosmetics and cosmetic application thereof. The powder contains 90-98% of nanometer titanium dioxide or nanometer zinc oxide or nanometer modified TiO2 or nanometer modified ZnO2, 1-5% of metal-containing oxide and 0.5-5% of powder surface conditioning agent. The product provided by the invention can selectively reflect or scatter ambient light, and only permit the skin color light enter into the skin, thereby modifying dark skin and shadow caused by an irregular surface, and shinning and brightening the skin. The product provided by the invention can automatically adjust the color according to surrounding illumination, so that the skin has third dimension effect and a natural bright color; the product provided by the invention can prevent outdoor whitening effect and adjust indoor natural effect, and has the characteristics of water resistance, oil resistance and dizzy makeup prevention, makeup stabilization, and good suspensibility without easy settlement. The invention also relates to a cosmetic composition using the powder composition.
