The idea of protecting films for posterity, as a source of information and heritage of humanity, dating back to the late nineteenth century with the proposed creation of movie archives as an local of strategic research promotion and "guardian" of the cinematography memory. Although discussions about the preservation of films and related documents have been started at the dawn of cinema, the absence of a satisfactory means of conservation observed in the recent history of man can condemn part of this artistic legacy provided by our forefathers to oblivion and the total disappearance. In this context, we noted the importance of the collector as a agent in maintaining the history of cinema, through his personal archives, makes it possible that past and present are accessible through documents and the most diverse objects, all associated with the seventh art. This paper aims to present brief report of the final results
