Analysis of serum biochemistry in 90 alcohol dependent patients

2011
Objective:To investigate the level of serum biochemistry in 90 alcohol dependent patients. Methods: The level of serum biochemistry of 90 alcohol dependent patients diagnosed with CCMD-3 diagnostic criteria was measured by Beckman LX20 automatic biochemical analyzer, the result of which was compared with that of 85 health adults. Results: The level of serum biochemistry such as ALT,AST,ALP,GGT,CK,LDH,TC,TG,LDL-c of alcohol dependent patient group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P0.01),while the level of serum K+,Ca,Mg,GLU,HDL-c was significantly lower(P0.01),but the level of serum Na+,iP had no significant difference in the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion: Different degrees of changes are observed in the level of serum biochemistry of alcohol dependent patients. It should strongly publicize the harm of overcomsumption of Alcohol and the knowledge of prevention and cure of alcohol dependence.Alcohol dependent patients should be early diagnosed and cured.
