The method sequentially comprises building of a frequency domain clutter map, the frequency domain clutter map detection and the high and low frequency energy ratio, wherein the building of the frequency domain clutter map comprises the steps of Doppler filtering and updating and storing of the frequency domain clutter map; the frequency domain clutter map detection comprises the step that human body detection is carried out according to the judgment threshold determined by the ambient level of the frequency domain clutter map; the high and low frequency energy ratio is used for carrying out human body detection according to difference of high frequency energy and low frequency energy in echo; the frequency domain clutter map detection is used for indoor dynamic human body detection; the high and low frequency energy ratio is used for indoor static human body detection. The human body detection method combining frequency domain clutter map detection with the high and low frequency energy ratio has good human body detection performance and popularization capacity, and can be widely applied to the technical fields such as personnel detection in anti-terrorist and street fighting secrete chambers and seismic casualty search and rescue.
