A IMPORTÂNCIA DA DETECÇÃO DOS SINAIS PRECOCES NO TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA (TEA)

2018
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) refers to persistent deficits in communication and social interaction in multiple contexts, such as social-emotional reciprocity, non-verbal communicative behaviors used for social interaction, and deficits to develop, maintain, and understand relationships. The diagnosis is essentially clinical, based on observations, parental interviews and application of specific tools. This study is an integrative review of the literature and for its accomplishment 23 articles were selected, being 9 in English, 2 in Spanish and 12 in Portuguese. The publication dates of the articles cover the years 2014 to 2018. The descriptors in health sciences (DeCS) used were: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Child Behavior, Child Development and Social Skills. Based on these, the following databases were used: Publisher Medicine (PubMed), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS). The study has the objective to describe the importance of the detection of the early signs in Autism Spectrum Disorder, since from the six months of age it is possible to identify autistic traits. The carriers do not express significant interest in inanimate objects, even if these are offered by the mother or by a relative, the expectation at this age is the mother-baby socialization, in addition they also present the disinterest in the shared play, a fact that is not present in the non-autistic child. Therefore, a diagnosis requires collaboration between a family and a multiprofessional team.
