Detection and Compensation of Bandwidth Limitation and Modulation Nonlinearity in Coherent IQ Transmitter

By sweeping frequency and amplitude of sinusoidal stimulus, bandwidth limitation, modulation nonlinearity, power imbalance, and bias point are detected for coherent IQ transmitter. Bandwidth limitation and modulation nonlinearity are compensated by finite impulse response filter and memoryless Volterra filter.
