A 50-year-old white man presented with a 2-year history of a pruritic cutaneous eruption on the left side of the back. He had tried over-the-counter moisturizing creams without success. His medical history was notable for cirrhosis secondary to hepatitis B, diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, and herpes zoster. Physical examination revealed a reticulated erythematous plaque on the left side of the back (Figure 1). A punch biopsy specimen was obtained for histologic analysis (Figure 2 and Figure 3). What is your diagnosis?
