Mechanism of the selective reduction of nitric oxide by propene on platinum-based catalysts in the presence of excess oxygen

For automotive uses, alternative catalyst systems must be developed. In this paper we present a mechanistic study of supported platinum catalysts on γ-alumina for the selective reduction of NO in the presence of excess oxygen using both microreactor and temporal analysis of products (TAP) techniques.
