Data Scheduling Policy in P2P-VoD System Based on Rateless Codes

In peer-to-peer streaming system, because of the limitation of peer capacities and high bandwidth demand of multimedia applications, data scheduling policy to improve service of quality represents a major challenge. This paper presents a P2P-VoD system based on rateless codes, analyzes data scheduling policy based on minimum-delay of this system, gets a linear optimization model, and then discusses peers dynamics. Finally, the paper analyzes the property of the system and discusses future work.
