Design of Battery Charging System as Supply of Rice Threshers in Tractor

This paper discusses about the design of a battery charging system on thresher. The proposed system uses a power-boost converter type converter using a constant voltage method. The battery charger uses a constant voltage method by maintaining the voltage output boost converter of 60 volts using the PI control. Testing was conducted using 400WP solar panels and an battery of 45 AH. The charging battery 3.09 ampere with constant voltage according to the set of predefined points. The charging process was carried out for 3.47 hours with an initial SOC of 70% to end at SOC 100% gained SOC increase by 30%.
