Latest development in uranium bio-heap leaching of hard rock-type uranium ores in China

Based on brief review of present status of uranium mining and metallurgy in China,latest development in bio-heap leaching of uranium ore with high fluorine concentration and low grade uranium ore,as well as in stirring bacteria leaching of fine particle uranium ore,has been reviewed.Researches show that uranium bioheap leaching of hard-rock type uranium ores is feasible technically and economically.
