Peat plateaus in the Eastern part of European forest-tundra

Specific features of stratigraphy of peat bogs, their chemical properties, and the composition of surface water in peat plateaus of the eastern part of European forest tundra are studied. The age of boundary layers of peat is determined by the radiocarbon method. The lowering of air temperatures that occurred in this region 3000 years ago is revealed.
