Multipipe reactor and gas liquid contact reaction method using the same

PURPOSE: To provide a multipipe reactor enabling to perform a uniform gas liquid contact reaction and a gas liquid contact reaction method using the reactor. CONSTITUTION: This multipipe reactor consists of a shell 32 housing 157 pieces of reaction pipes 34 with 25mm inside diameter and 3m length in which a silica alumina carrier with 0.5% palladium is packed, an introducing port 48 of raw material at an upper part of the shell, a discharge port 50 of reaction product at a lower part of the shell, a perforated plate 56 having 157 through-holes 58 with 1mm inside diameter corresponding to the installed pattern of the reaction pipe 34, an inlet space 44 at the upper part of the shell, a liquid reversion space 52 partitioned with the porous plate 56 and an introducing space 54, one communicating pipe 62 with 25mm inside diameter and 100mm length attached to the perforated plate 56, an inlet 40 and an outlet 42 of a heat medium. A hydrogen addition reaction to cyclopentadiene is attained by using this multipipe reactor at 80°C reaction temp., 25kg/cm 2 pressure, 60m 3 /hr hydrogen supply quantity and 400 1/hr supplying quantity of a 15% cyclopentadiene solution in toluene.
