Catalytic properties of cobalt polyphthalocyanine in the oxidation of sulphides

1997
A study has been made of the oxidation of sulphides and their mixtures with mercaptan by air oxygen in the presence of cobalt polyphthalocyanine. Comparative data on the catalytic activity of the monomeric and polymeric form of cobalt phthalocyanine in the oxidation of sulphides are given. The results of studies have been used for the removal of pentanes from sulphides and mercaptans.
