Estudo para concepção de um objeto virtual de aprendizagem em realidade aumentada para o ensino de ciências.

2011
Learning virtual objects aim the construction of concepts where the student interactively operates virtual simulations on several themes and contexts. The context, however, does not appear on the daily routine of the students due to restrictions on tools, that do not aggregate three-dimensional space and real time interactions. Nowadays it is still difficult to find freely available learning objects developed using augmented reality. On this scope, this thesis approach the learning process using this technology, the production of learning virtual objects and the applicability of augmented reality in educational processes. The goal of this thesis is to develop an augmented reality based learning virtual object to support the teaching of thermal dilatation Physics for solids. As result of the development process, a freely available learning virtual object exploring the potential of augmented reality met the expectations of teachers and students. The interactions of the user are movement based and use the webcam of the computer and real time tracking resources. The validation process brought improvements on pedagogic and technical point of views, enriching the final application made available on the Web.
