Low-Lying Magnetic Excitations in Itinerant Systems: SDFT Calculations

There are two main areas of applications, where the concept of low-energy magnetic excitations seems to be of major importance: these are thermodynamics and spin-dependent transport. It is well-established that the wave-like vibrations govern these magnetic properties, at least at low temperatures.
