The syntheses of 1,2:4,5-di-O-cyclohexylidene β-fructopyranose and 1,2:4,5-di-O-cyclohyexylidene-β-d-erythro-2,3-diulopyranose were improved. A method for the separation of isomeric oxines of diulos was developed, and their structures were established by13C NMR spectroscopy, 3-Amino-3-deoxy-1,2:4,5-di-O-cyclohexylidene-β-d-psychopyranose was obtained.
