Radiocolloid liver scan may facilitate the diagnosis of Budd—Chiari syndrome (8), but there is no pathog nomonic scintigraphic pattern, and several more or less typical patterns may be encountered. In this paper, we review these patterns and their underlying pathophysi ology.
