The invention relates to a lighting device for cooking enclosures of any type of furnace domestique.Selon one embodiment, the lighting device includes, on either side of the enclosure (11) of the furnace (F), a lamp (LAM) and its power supply. It further comprises guide means, for example light guide (GUI) that can carry light emitted by the lamps (MAL) to the openings on the side walls (12) of the enclosure. The lamps may thus be remote from the hottest areas of furnace.The device according to the invention enables a lateral illumination, multilevel, while maintaining a maximum width of the enclosure, and has the advantage to implement, even in oven-type furnaces pyrolysis, standard lamps.
