The invention provides a super-resolution method, a super-resolution system, a server and user equipment, so that image quality can be improved further. The super-resolution method of an embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps: carrying out training on image samples in the server; obtaining a server-side image database; updating a local image database in the user equipment by utilizing the server-side image database; and displaying input low-resolution images to be high-definition images. According to the embodiment of the invention, the local image database in the user equipment is not fixed, and the local image database can be updated by utilizing the server-side image database, so that the local image database is allowed to be the newest, image quality is improved further, and the improvement of the image quality is dynamic.
