Could screening for the risk of autism in babies just a few months old help to transform the prognosis? The preaut grid, its origin and applications

2018
It is only recently that international researchers have become interested in the possibility of screening for autism as early as possible, before one year of age, with the hope of intervening much more effectively, and even perhaps of preventing the onset of autism. This same project was at the origin of the preaut research programme, conceived more than twenty years ago by clinical psychoanalysts of autism. The remarkable results that have just been published show that ultra early screening is possible, opening up the possibility of an intervention that could radically modify the evolution of these babies.
