Current detecting apparatus for low voltage dc-dc converter of electric vehicle

The present invention provides a current detecting apparatus for a low voltage DC-DC converter of an electric vehicle, comprising a low voltage DC-DC converter (LDC) for receiving power from a high voltage battery to covert the power into low voltage power; a current transformer (CT) at the front end of a main transformer to convert a current value of an input terminal of the main transformer; and a computation part for computing a current value of an output terminal of the main transformer by receiving an output current of the current transformer. Therefore, the current detecting apparatus for a low voltage DC-DC converter of an electric vehicle enables the detection of an output current of a low voltage DC-DC converter without an expensive current sensor.
