Pulsed TeV radiation from Hercules X-1
1990
Abstract A four-year database (spring 1984 through spring 1987) of observations of Hercules X-1 by the Whipple Observatory Collaboration is being analyzed as a whole for evidence of TeV γ-ray emission. The full distribution of Rayleigh powers near the x-ray pulsar frequency differs significantly from the background distribution, giving evidence for sporadic emission at better than a 99% confidence level.
