Modulation Options for a High-Frequency High-Efficiency GaN-Based Non-Inverting Buck-Boost DC-DC Converter

This paper presents the design of a high-frequency Gan-Based Non-Inverting Buck-Boost converter. First, an original switching method is presented. Numerical calculations show that the switching method is effective for achieving higher efficiency. We then discuss the inductor design for switching operation in the MHz range. Finally, we discuss the characteristics of inductors produced based on this design method.
