The air conditioner control method comprises the steps: acquiring state information of the air conditioner; transmitting the state information of the air conditioner to a local area network operating terminal or a remote server; receiving a control instruction generated by the local area network operating terminal or the remote server according to the state information of the air conditioner; controlling the air conditioner according to the control instruction. In the embodiment, the state information of the air conditioner is acquired in real time; then the state information of the air conditioner is transmitted to the local area network operating terminal or the remote server; the local area network operating terminal or the remote server generates the control instruction according to the state information of the air conditioner; finally the air conditioner is controlled according to the control instruction. By adopting the method, the centralized control can be remotely carried out for a plurality of air conditioners.
