Capacitive touch panel

The present invention discloses a capacitive touch panel, using a mixed resolution touch, touch provide higher resolution in a local area. The capacitive touch panel comprising a first electrode layer, second electrode layer, an insulating layer, and a single integrated circuit chip. A first electrode layer or the second electrode layer contains uneven distribution density of the sensing electrode, resulting in a partial region of the touch panel having a high resolution touch, touch partial region having a lower resolution. This method can be improved when the number of pins in the integrated circuit chip does not require, by adjusting the distribution of the electrodes, in a localized area to achieve higher resolution touch.
