The expansion of the productive frontier over the Amazon Forest has brought a series of environmentaland social damages; deforestation of forest remnants, land concentration, contaminationof soil and water by pesticides, fires and reduction of work stations in the countrysideare exemplify this. Today, the region is marked by the production of commodities for the internacionalmarket, intensifying the contradictions resulting from this activity. In contrast, theAgrarian Reform settlements emerge as examples of resistance to rural emptying: althoughat a disadvantage, peasant agriculture persists in seeking full conditions for work, subsistenceand for the permanence of families in the countryside. This work seeks to present a briefanalysis of the practices experienced in the Canteiros Socio-Solidarity and AgroecologicalTrade System, with emphasis on the outflow of agroecological genera from families based onAgrarian Reform in the region of Sinop / MT.
