Sol-gel synthesis of high-silica materials from nepheline-containing concentrate

The possibility of preparing high-silica materials (silica gels, glasses, ceramics), including monolithic ones, from natural nepheline-containing raw materials is established. The processes of decomposition of nepheline concentrate, formation of silica gels, their drying and heat treatment are investigated.
