An application of GMM model in nuclear spectrum smoothing filtering

Based on statistical characteristics of nuclear spectrum,statistical model,namely Gaussian mixture model(GMM),was adopted for smoothing filtering of nuclear spectrum.The main idea for this method is to do function approximation of nuclear spectrum using good approximating performance of GMM,build mathematical model of original spectrum based on GMM,and realize more reasonable smoothing filtering of spectrum in the process of multiple operation by this model.
