Radiation cholecystitis—A case report after Yttrium-90 microsphere therapy

Abstract Radioembolization with Yttrium-90 microspheres has long been recognized as a viable treatment option for a variety of hepatic tumours. However, there is a paucity of data on biliary complications that can result from this procedure. We hereby describe a case report of a patient who experienced persistent right upper quadrant abdominal pain after radioembolization with Yttrium-90 microspheres in our institution.
