CRIMINAL PENALTIES, SECTION 3 OF ROBINSON-PATMAN ACT"DEAD HORSE" OR "SLEEPER"?

2016
As you all know, the ground rules applying to the listener-speaker relationship at this Section meeting are new, and are a reversal of the rules used at past meetings. Today, each speaker, rather than answer ing questions, will ask questions. When Professor Oppenheim told me this it brought to mind the definition of an expert that James O'Brien gave us at the 1952 San Francisco meeting. He said that experts in the Robinson-Patman field were either members of the Federal Trade Commission staff, or the men with the longest list of unanswerable questions. So, under the new rules, I believe all of us qualify as experts.
