GAMBARAN PERILAKU PEMERIKSAAN PAYUDARA SENDIRI (SADARI) PADA WANITA USIA SUBUR (WUS) DI DUSUN KANIGORO DESA PUTON KECAMATAN DIWEK KABUPATEN JOMBANG ( The Breast Self-Examination(BSE) Behaviour of Women Aged Fertile (WAF) in the Hamlet Village of Kanigoro Puton Diwek Jombang )

Breast cancer is the second killer disease in the world that affects women after cervical cancer.Every year in Indonesia found 100 new cases per 100,000 population. This case continues involved greater because almost 70% of patients are found and come to the doctor in the advanced stages of the condition has worsened. Factors that cause the patient less is understood about the importance of breast self-examination as early detection of breast cancer. BSE behavior is influenced by several factors such as knowledge, attitudes, and actions BSE. The goal in this research is to describe the behavior of breast self-examination (BSE) in women aged fertile (WAF) in the hamlet village Kanigoro Puton Diwek Jombang. This research is a descriptive study, with a population of 134 women aged fertile (WAF), a sample of 33 respondents. Sampling was purposive sampling. Variable in this study is the description of the behavior of breast self-examination (BSE) in women aged fertile (WAF). The experiment was conducted on June 20 to 25 June 2013. The data was collected using questionnaires and checklists. Tabulation of data processing using the frequency distribution. The results in the hamlet village Kanigoro Puton Diwek Jombang found that most of the WAF have much less knowledge and 66.8% had a negative attitude as much as 60.7% of respondents. While almost all of the respondents have less action as much as 78.8% on BSE. Suggestions for respondents to be more active to improve their knowledge about BSE and can apply them in everyday life. Also expected health worker or local midwife to provide education on the importance of breast self-examination so that if there are cases of breast cancer can be detected early.
