In thispaper', wepropose aweb-based software managementsystem(WebSMS)forproviding thedevice- independent software execution environment tousers. We classify software into three types basedonthesoftware execution mechanism - local software, streaming software andportable software. Theproposed system mergesheterogeneous software execution modulesandprovides web-based interface. Andit minimizes thedependencies amongcomponents andprovides seamless software using interface forusers.
