Telemetry for System Reliability

Computer systems need to be highly reliable for efficient usage and satisfactory user experience. Telemetry-based systems enable gathering actionable data from end users. We review concepts, methods and results regarding the use of field data for deciding use conditions for IC reliability modeling and optimization. Then we present concepts and results about using telemetry for IC product health monitoring, focusing on issue detection and support based on a sampled population.
