On the Chinese Community and Religions in Thailand

The Chinese community in Thailand,mainly taking "five lucks" as a base of their connection,has built a complementary and mutual aid structure of sharing in profits.As changing of time and influence of education,the new generation of Chinese in Thailand has a trend of becoming Thais gradually.Most of Chinese people in the huge countryside of Thailand are mainly depending upon their religious activities to strengthen themselves identification sense for their original culture.This shows that the religion is conductive to passing and spreading of Chinese culture in the Chinese community in Thailand;and to reintegration of financial,human and material resources in the Chinese community;and is an appearance of collective ideal activities under the common sacred mission.The Chinese religious groups in Thailand are eager for promotion of Chinese education, which can slow down the progress of Chinese origin becoming Thais and is conductive to the multiple cultural communications between the Chinese and Thais.
