Obstetrical events and developmental sequelae
1994
This text provides an examination of the long-term significance of several commonly encountered obstetrical situations, including the consequences of premature rupture of membranes, foetal heart rate monitoring, and breech and forceps deliveries. In this revised and updated second edition, two new chapters have been added: the first looks at the long-term outcome of infants of diabetic mothers; and the second reports on the long-term effects of foetal exposure to diagnostic ultrasound.
