Exhaust aftertreatment device and vehicle

It is an exhaust gas treatment device (12) for treating an exhaust gas (13) produced during operation of a motor (11) of a motor vehicle (10) is provided. The exhaust aftertreatment device (12) includes a first exhaust gas treatment device (15), a downstream of the first exhaust gas treatment device (15) disposed second exhaust gas treatment device (16) and a downstream of the second exhaust gas treatment device (16) disposed third exhaust gas treatment device (17). The first exhaust gas treatment device (15) is a hydrocarbon adsorber. The second exhaust gas treatment device (16) is a diesel oxidation catalyst or a nitrogen oxide or a passive nitrogen oxide. The third exhaust gas treatment device (17) is a nitrogen oxide or a passive nitrogen oxide or a selective catalytic reduction catalyst or a catalytically coated diesel particulate filters. According to the invention, the third exhaust gas treatment device (17) has a larger volume for receiving the exhaust gas than the second exhaust gas treatment device (16). The second exhaust gas treatment device (16) has a higher proportion of platinum group metals than the third exhaust gas treatment device (17). In addition, a motor vehicle (10) with this exhaust gas treatment device (12) is claimed.
