Effect of the type of electrode coating on the corrosion resistance of weld metal in 08Cr18Ni10Ti steel

The results of metallographic analysis of the surface of corrosion failure are presented and the results obtained in investigations of stress corrosion specimens of 08Cr18Ni10Ti steel, produced by welding with electrodes with basic and rutile coatings, are discussed.
